The item fully satisfies my needs however it's real specifications does not meet the ones written in the product description. according to specs it should be able to transmit for 10 meters in open room, however in my case transmission was limited to 4 miters when the receiver was in direct visibility. it was enough in my case but if you want to transmit from another room, forget about it.
another problem is that when the battery gets discharged the transmission range shortens even more. and you can't charge it and transmit at the same time it stops transmitting the moment you plug in the USB cable to charge it.

It is a great idea - but not for the IPOD nano. I find the description misleading. It implied it would recharge the nano but the truth is you must use an audio cable to connect the nano and it will not recharge. From the limited pictures and data I couldn't tell if it would fit either of my cars and as it turned out it wouldn't. I returned it thinking I was missing an adapter. Turns out I wasn't.

Griffin 10008-SNSATA iTrip Auto FM Transmitter and Car Charger for Sansa Review

Griffin 10008-SNSATA iTrip Auto FM Transmitter and Car Charger for Sansa
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Amazon doesn't have this product, but other online stores have it, and you can get it from the manufacturer. Look around. I paid $69.99 + Shipping for the iTrip from the manufacturer, and it works great.
First off, Griffin has always spent time on their product's outward appearance. How long will you stare longingly at it before you get to actually try it out? Can it be a truly great product if the outside looks like one of those old "Electronic Science Kits" or something? Glossy, smooth exterior almost perfectly matches the Sansa. (The Sansa is more rounded than the iTrip.) How many buttons do you need for something like this? Answer: 3. An up, down, and select button is all you need, and the iTrip's uncluttered front display is perfect for the job.
Operation of the device is nearly plug and play. I have a couple reasons for the "nearly" qualifier:
1. You NEED to make sure you've got the latest firmware from Sandisk for your Sansa. The original firmware was not designed to work with the "Made for Sansa" devices, and won't work without updating. Download the updater from Sandisk before trying out the iTrip Auto. You WILL need your synch cable in order to do this. Once you've got all that together, the actual update is a snap. When I bought the iTrip, I immediately upgraded my firmware, as I knew that I wouldn't be able to do so at work when I got the device. Easy to do, and the iTrip won't work without the new firmware.
2. The iTrip is excellent in that it will operate on any frequency of the FM band. However, I anticipate that this will cause problems with users who accidentally change the band and can't get it back easily. The nice thing is that you have to press the Select button when you find the frequency you want to use in order to change it. So it's pretty easy to set and forget it. I recommend finding your frequency before going on a drive. Better to mess with the distracting electronic device while sitting still.
That being said, the device will work for most people out of the box. I forget what frequency it worked, but it was in the high 80's, which is rarely used for actual broadcast. The thing is backlit, which makes changing stations in the middle of the night a snap. It runs off the car's 12v system, and even charges the Sansa's battery...all without any problems whatsoever.
To answer the guy's complaints about the delay in Griffin getting the technology out the door, he is dead wrong. It's not just a matter of putting a Sansa connector on an iPod iTrip. The simplest thing is getting the sync cable end to work with the internal software of the iTrip. The hard part is working with the Sansa firmware to get it to work. The Griffin device has to be completely compliant with whatever standards Sandisk has, and I guarantee that a major part of the delay was the Sansa firmware itself. If Sansa could avoid releasing firmware updates, they would. However, I would venture to say that the reason they had to release firmware was because the original firmware was impossible to work with, etc. If I had to point the finger at anyone for the delay in devices, I would point to Sandisk for either not providing the firmware specs to the manufacturers in a timely fashion, or else creating a firmware that was originally impossible to work with. It's not just Griffin who was slow...Macally only just got their device out before Griffin, and DLO still doesn't have anything out there for the Sansa.
This device is excellent, and anyone who can lay hold of one, you will not be disappointed.

Listen to your Sansa's music on your car's FM receiver with the Griffin 9202-SNSATA iTrip Auto FM Transmitter and Car Charger. Powered by your car's 12-volt accessory port, this receiver features a backlit LCD for clear visibility during setup. It also plays on the full spectrum of FM frequencies (87.9 to 107.9 MHz), has an operating range of 10 to 30 feet, and is compatible with Sansa C200 and Sansa E200. The iTrip works by sending the music on your Sansa to your car's FM radio, so you can listen to exactly the music you want when you're traveling in the car. Additionally, the iTrip Auto charges your Sansa on the go, so you can enjoy great music while you're driving, and then arrive at your destination with a fully charged player. Great for road trips, this compact transmitter has a 33-inch cord and is backed by a limited one-year warranty.

Audiovox Acoustic Research AW825 Mission Style Wireless Speaker (Bronze) Review

Audiovox Acoustic Research AW825 Mission Style Wireless Speaker (Bronze)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was searching for wireless speakers for an outdoor event, and I'm certain these will do nicely. While it's true that the transmitter needs to be plugged into the music source (via a standard headphone jack that will fit all devices I would need it to) and into a wall outlet, I expected that. For a test run I plugged into my laptop sitting in the middle of the first floor then slotted 6 AA batteries into the speaker and turned it on. It automatically picked up the signal. I took a walk around the house and got about 100' away and still got good signal. I also like the feature to select L,R,or Mono on the speaker itself. Bass boost helps the sound a lot. Also, I was able to run 4 speakers from 1 transmitter. Don't know yet about interference or battery life for the speaker. I love the aesthetics of it.

Audio Technica Pro Series Dynamic Headworn Microphone for Wireless Systems Review

Audio Technica Pro Series Dynamic Headworn Microphone for Wireless Systems
Average Reviews:

Can't say how it works. It was recommended by a local store to go along with Audio-Technica's PRO 88W VHF wireless microphone systems that are designed for use with a camcorder. However, upon receiving both items, I discovered the headset has a 4-pin connection, and the wireless set accepts 3.5mm pin. The descriptions clearly state this. I just didn't read it, since I was going on 'professional' advice. My bad. I will say, the headset does seem to be well made, for the price. It's probably a great buy if it has the right connection for your system.
That being said, American Musical Supply, who the headset was ordered from, was exceptional fast in responding to my request for a RA# to return the headset. Credit was promptly applied to my account. I will shop with them in the future!

Griffin iTrip Auto Universal Plus FM Transmitter for Portable MP3 Players (2010 Packaging) Review

Griffin iTrip Auto Universal Plus FM Transmitter for Portable MP3 Players (2010 Packaging)
Average Reviews:

If the signal strength coming out of this was a little stronger, I would have rated it a lot higher. The clarity comes and goes depending on where I am, where my MP3 player is sitting in the car, and whether I'm touching either the MP3 player or cabling. Yesterday almost no static at all but today it sounds like crumbing up tin foil. For those that are having problems locating a free station, it is possible to get down to 87.9. It's not in the crappy manual. Just press and hold both the - and + buttons until you see a US and then hit either the - or + key to change to International. I saw other remarks on other versions of this that stated that switching to MONO made a big difference in quality but neither makes a big difference for me at this time.

Scosche TZ4 iPod Bottom Dock Bluetooth Transmitter Review

Scosche TZ4 iPod Bottom Dock Bluetooth Transmitter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
First off, this is exactly the same item as the model designated TZ4R--I called Scosche to ask and they verified this.
This is one of the many Bluetooth 2.0 stereo trans mitters for iPod that's out there, and there are limitations associated with trying to play music over Bluetooth to your home stereo--at least, that's what I use it for. If you are concerned or want to know about Bluetooth stereo transmitters in general, you can find that info elsewhere. The distinctive about this one is that it allows for volume control from your iPod. This may seem like a no-brainer, but there are several brands of this similar product which do not allow for this--including the Sony and Miccus equivelents. The sound quality is actually really good (you have to boost the volume on your stereo a little bit). But it really does turn your iPod into a full-fledged remote in your hand! Highly recommended.

Maxell P-13 Stereo FM Transmitter Review

Maxell P-13 Stereo FM Transmitter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I'd give this thing 5 stars for the price, but the lack of useful instructions & operating tips with the unit made me take away a star, & is probably the reason for some poor reviews here.
First, the unit does not have 4 "bands". It has 4 frequencies to choose from between 88.1-88.7mhz. If you have a crummy radio that only picks up strong stations, or picks up bits of a strong station on more than 1 place on the dial, most FM transmitters will give you problems with those basic & cheap radios.
I have not used this unit in a car yet (got it primarily for the laptop & mp3 player), but if you follow my tips, it shouldn't give you a problem.
When you open the battery cover, you'll find a black wire around the circumference inside. This is the transmitting antenna. If you grab the black tip of it, it extends out & through the hole in the battery cover when you replace the cover.
With the antenna wire not extended & remaining inside, I was able to listen to my music perfectly throughout an entire 2 bedroom apartment on my Eton E5 & Realistic DX-390 radios. On my Grindig Mini 300 & GE SuperRadio* I was only able to get good reception no further than the next adjoining room.
With the wire extended out through the battery cover hole, I was able to get perfect reception on all my radios through the entire apartment, the attic above, & the floor below me... in a metal frame building. With the E5 radio, I was able to pick up the transmitter from the ground floor, 3 floors below.
I tried to twist a couple feet of wire to the transmitter's antenna wire to extend it. No need to strip off the wire's insulation... radio waves easily pass right through it. I was able to pick up the transmitter on the ground floor with any radio, & on the E5 form across the street, & down the street a few doors.
It looks like someone handy could just loosen the screws inside & permanently solder a slightly longer antenna wire in it.
The instructions do warn to keep your player volume low or you'll overdrive & distort the transmitter. I find the transmitter input is sensitive enough to be overdriven with the volume set at under halfway on most players & laptops. So start off with the player volume on a very low setting, & the radio's volume at average or higher to get a very clean sound.
Since I have a lot of radios with built in speakers, from the size of a cigarette pack to a boom box, I couldn't see investing in amplified speakers for a player or laptop & still be somewhat portable & mobile. With the transmitter, any decent radio can serve as a wireless amplified speaker system... small enough to fit into a shirt pocket or a large loud box.
Blue & white LEDs require at least 3.6 volts to light, unlike older red, orange, yellow, & green LEDs than only require 2 volts. The transmitter probably uses 3 AAA cells for enough voltage to power the blue LED. The 3 rechargable AAA cells I'm using in it have lasted over a month so far, & are still going strong.
*Everyone seems to praise the GE SuperRadio as very sensitive. It is not, & is only a little more sensitive than any cheap radio you can buy from your drugstore. It is cheap though, & if you do pick up a good signal onit, it has excellent sound for a portable, rivaling many bigger & more expensive boom boxes. With the transmitter, I use it as a super great & loud, wireless powered speaker. It takes 6 "D" batteries, but they last months.

Play your iPod, MP3 player, CD player, or other portable audio devicethrough any FM radio--including your car stereo--with this Maxell stereo FMtransmitter. The unit is easy to use: just connect your audio device through its 3.5 mmheadphone jack, then tune your radio to one of the four corresponding FM channels(preferably one that's entirely static). Once you set the transmitter to the same frequency, you'll hear your favorite iPod, MP3, or CD tracks through your car or home stereospeakers, all without hassling with cumbersome cables. The transmitter is ultra-light andcompact, taking up virtually no space in the car. And thanks to the unit's high-qualitydesign, listeners will enjoy crisp stereo sound. The FM transmitter, which works with anyaudio device with a 3.5 mm headphone jack, runs for roughly 24 hours on three AAAbatteries (not included) and is backed by a 90-day warranty.

Aerielle i2i FM Transmitter and Charger for iPod and MP3 Players (Black) Review

Aerielle i2i FM Transmitter and Charger for iPod and MP3 Players (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I owned and used a DLO FM transmitter for the Creative Zen Vision:M until it fell apart (and the Zen Vision:M itself was replaced by a Zen 32GB), so I needed a new one. Not having an iPod narrowed down the choices considerably, and eventually, after doing a lot of research, I decided to risk the Aerielle i2i.
My reasons:
1. It works with any MP3 player because it functions via the headphone jack;
2. It can charge any MP3 player -- or any other electronic device, for that matter -- that charges on USB, and play music at the same time;
3. You can input any FM frequency between 88.1 and 107.9, especially useful when you're looking for an unused FM frequency in a big town;
4. It includes the 3.5 mm audio cable that will allow it to reproduce the player's sound. It also includes the USB cable, but most of us have dozens of those lying around.
Setting this FM transmitter up is straightforward and logical. Its compact body contains the LCD display that shows the FM frequency, the tune up and tune down buttons, three station present buttons and the power / cigarette lighter plug. The body is connected to a small extension by a short cable. This extension contains the 3.5 mm audio jack (for sound) and the USB connector (for charging). Although this layout seems awkward at first, it makes sense because you never have to remove the transmitter from the power socket to plug or unplug devices from the 3.5 mm or USB connectors -- everything is close by and easily reachable.
The Aerielle i2i seems to be solidly and well built, and its texturized finish is non-slip. It does exactly what it is supposed to do: transmit the MP3 player's sound to the car's sound system. The sound quality depends on finding a free FM band, not so easy in the congested big towns but not a problem the farther away you get from them. My first run with it was in a metropolis, so all I got was acceptable sound quality -- on par with my dismembered DLO. I'll complement this review once I try the Aerielle out on the empty road, but so far it is doing well.

Jabra Bluetooth Music Adaptor Review

Jabra Bluetooth Music Adaptor
Average Reviews:

It works great to remedy a shortcoming of my zumo 550 GPS, which doesn't broadcast Bluetooth in stereo. But mostly, I like to plug it into my iPod, which I leave in the map pocket of my tank bag. I don't like being tethered to my bike in any way -- and this is an effective way of avoiding that.
The stereo sound quality, range, and volume are surprisingly good. Battery life seems to be as-advertised. Pairing was easy. I also found that I can plug it into the USB charger for my Motorola Q (cell phone) to recharge it -- versus having to charge it from a PC.
I've paired this device with the Bluetooth Wonder Stereo Headset, which I also purchased via Amazon. This is another great little device that enables your earphones of choice with Bluetooth!

This cable is made of superb quality. You can tell just by holding it.The shielding is thick, and heavy, plus it is all covered by a nice black nylon weave with a red stripe criss crossing around it, which makes for nice presentation. The connectors are 24k gold plated, and they SNAP on tight, with no wiggle. Most importantly however is that even with 6 Ft of length, audio signal is still great with absolutely no loss in quality, and this cable runs parallel with my coaxial and power cables. There is a white and black version of this with the white and black connector heads and white stripe too. 5 stars for blowing my expectations!

Mp3 Wireless Fm Transmitter with Sd Card and USB Jump Drive Slot. Black with .. Review

Mp3 Wireless Fm Transmitter with Sd Card and USB Jump Drive Slot. Black with ..
Average Reviews:

I bought this player from Dream Bargains as SKU: WZ-K1F2-W0J1. Although the packaging was not heat sealed, it was obviously new, including a peel-off LCD protector. I selected this unit because the web image seemed to show a backlight that was missing from other listing photos. And, yes, it has a white backlight (not blue as pictured). Accessories included the short cable featuring standard 2.5mm plug to 3.5mm plug (e.g. IPod to modulator), remote with a good battery and 1 extra fuse. As with other similar units reviewed at other listings this unit came with the barest of documentation printed on the backside of the thick paper package-liner. Thanks to comments from other reviewers I knew that pressing and holding certain keys would produce other functions; on this unit press/hold Previous/Next keys for volume, press/hold the Pause/Play key to cycle between S(shuffle) and A(all, in order). I haven't yet discovered whether the A-/B+ keys control anything other than FM frequency. The product packaging indicates MP3/WMA player, but I haven't found the WMA function unless it's automatically detected (I haven't tested for that).
As other reviewers found, it is difficult to make reliable contact with the auto power socket, but I was after much practice able to find a satisfactory mating. I am sure a bumpy road would cause intermittence problems but on the highway or most city streets it would not be a problem. It's a plus that when contact is restored, playback begins where it stopped. It may be that wiping the chrome tip with fine emery paper once in a while could improve the contact; I haven't tested that. This poor contact is the only significant "con" I have to offer for this product.
I tested only with a thumb drive (250MB) and a half-dozen tunes. I plugged in the thumb drive, turned on the FM radio to an unused channel (89.7MHz), and plugged in the player/modulator. Ignoring the contact problems I then set the player to 89.7MHz (it's settable in 0.1MHz steps). I pressed PLAY and music poured forth! I subsequently found that the default modulation level was at max (21 of 21): a good default. As expected, setting lower modulation levels eventually (

I have a 2005 Honda Odyssey with factory installed Honda RES. I looked for options to replace my OEM Honda wireless headphones that have a flimsy plastic strip that is used for head size adjustment. The strip on the Honda headphones had ripped on 3 sets of headphones now.
I tried out these Audiovox headphones because they were pretty compact like my Honda originals, had a better design for head size adjustment, and this new model folds flat because the ear pieces pivot. They worked great right out of the box, and $30 a piece beats $80 for replacing the originals from Honda! Time will tell about battery life, etc. but first impression is great.
