The sound quality on this lapel mike was good. No popping, hissing, or crackling. The clip on it is not one of my preferred types. It is hard to tell from the photo, but the clip is one solid piece of plastic, and not an alligator type clip. Still, good value for the money.

Sony DRBT140Q Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headset (Silver) Review

Sony DRBT140Q Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headset (Silver)
Average Reviews:

I love these headphones. The AVRDP controls are great for whatever media player you're using (iTunes, Windows Media Player, WinAmp, Media Monkey, VLC, and so on). The only wire is a tiny cord connecting the two clip-ons. They stay firmly on the ear, and do not cause wear and tear on your ears after only a few hours use. I research practically all the Bluetooth headphones out there, and these are by far the best.
The built in microphone also works great, and I've used these as my mobile headset far more often. You just can't go wrong with these.

Samson Concert 77 UHF TD Headset Wireless Microphone System with SE10 Headset, Channel N4 Review

Samson Concert 77 UHF TD Headset Wireless Microphone System with SE10 Headset, Channel N4
Average Reviews:

This wireless system is a really good middle of the road system. It isn't a cheap wanna-be toy, and it isn't an over priced waste of money either. It is a solid pro-quality kit that does it's job really well. The price makes it a no-brainer. Sure, there are systems with better sound, longer range, and smaller headpieces. You will pay big bucks for those upgrades. Line of sight, the distance of this system is very good. The sound is more than adequate for live shows (as it is designed for), and with the foam wind blocker off, the headpiece is not distracting.
If you're looking for wireless for DJ, workout, or worship use, this is your answer. I'm sure you'll be as happy with it as I am.

NADY 151VR-LT Professional Wireless Lavaliere Microphone Systems for Camcorders (NADY 151VRLT) Review

I really wanted this budget buy to work for my limited videography needs. After 1 hour of testing every component (mic, transmitter, receiver, batteries, levels), I determined that the lavalier mic and also the transmitter each did not work at all. If everything worked as promised, I would have overlooked the very cheap feel of each unit (They seemed to be totally hollow). I can't recommend this product.

I only had these microphones for about a week if not shorter than that when I go to change the battery and the whole thing falls apart!!!!! They are very cheaply made and not at all the best quality in sound. If there was a way I could send them back I would but they will not accept something that has already been opened. Big waste of money and my time!!!!

Amplivox SW610A 50-Watt Wireless Half Mile Hailer Review

Amplivox SW610A 50-Watt Wireless Half Mile Hailer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We bought one of these Amplivox units about a year ago for our nonprofit organization to use at public educational demonstrations. As an electrical engineer, I had spent quite a bit of time reviewing specifications and prices, and finally settled on this one. It isn't the cheapest on the market, but you get what you pay for.
The cone speaker is fairly directional, allowing you to control the direction in which it projects sound. In particular, you can stand to one side to avoid feedback. Surprisingly, however, the unit is not prone to feedback even if you are standing in front of the speaker, as long as you are not too close. I found that I can stand 10 meters or so in front of the speaker, with volume at reasonable levels, and still not have a feedback problem. Ideally, you are off to the side, but that's not always feasible in all locations.
Sound quality is in my opinion quite good for a public address system, but you should understand that this is a *public address system* and not a music system. You can certainly play music through the amplifier, but it is optimized for human speech and lacks the frequency response and dynamic range for high-fidelity music reproduction. In engineering design, there are always tradeoffs, and the designers were able to make this device work better for speech by intentionally limiting its response range. I have also been very pleased that the speaker has plenty of headroom, and I have not heard any clipping or overdrive.
One very nice feature of this model is that it has inputs for an extra wireless or wired microphone as well as a line-level input for connection to an external source such as an MP3 player for sound effects or background music. This feature is hard to find on equipment in this price range.
The battery life of the unit is surprisingly good. I was skeptical of the manufacturer's claim of how long it can run on "D" cells, but I have to admit it really does run a long time. We bought the 12 volt adapter (and I recommend this if you're going to run it all day), but for most short presentations (up to 3 or 4 hours) I just use the inboard "D" cells.
The manufacturer calls this a "half mile hailer". I haven't tested it at that range, but I would believe the claim based on what I have observed. With the volume at about 40% to 50%, we are able to give educational presentations in very crowded outdoor venues such as a town festival.
The wireless microphones are of very high quality, with no discernable difference in fidelity between wired and wireless in my tests. They operate on different radio frequencies and have so far been immune to crossover in our usage. These are expensive microphones, but as with the amplifier you get what you pay for. My only caveat is that using the wireless microphones properly does require some training. Anyone can learn it, but audio novices may need some practice to get the mic placement right.
My overall opinion is that this PA system does exactly what its manufacturer claims, and does it very well. I would not recommend it to professional musicians because its sound quality is not optimized for that application. But within its intended application -- public address -- it is a high-quality, rugged, reliable performer that is well worth the money.

Sennheiser EW 122P G3-A compact cardioid clip-on microphone EW system Review

Sennheiser EW 122P G3-A compact cardioid clip-on microphone EW system
Average Reviews:

These are identical transmitter and receiver pairs - the big difference comes in the microphone that comes with the kit.
You can see my review on the ew112pg3 which is the entry level kit for most information about the wireless aspects hereSennheiser EW112PG3A Wireless Kit with EK 100 G3 Diversity Receiver Frequency Band A (Range: 516-558 MHZ)
The microphone with THIS kit has a cardiod picup pattern (named for the fact that its polar plot is shaped like the heart) -- it will avoid sound from the side lobes and pickup sound from straight ahead on the microphone.
You might want to think about this abit before you jump to the cardiod pattern - if the mic tilts over during use (sennheiser's clip does that alot) you'll loose your speaker and get noise to their left or right whichever way it tips. This MIC MUST point at the speaker's mouth to get the sound. The omnidirection (EW112) kit will pick up sound from any direction comming into it, so as it moves around on the speaker's clothing you still get good pickup.
If you can lock the mic element down with a tieclip style mic holder then this mic may work better - but the factory holders pivot.

I am not totally impress with the performance of this microphone. Even when I adjust the gain to the lower dB, it still have some distortion at high frequency input (like the singer with high pitch voice). Other than that, it's good to have wireless and no antena to worry about. It's a compact unit. It would be nice to have an on/off switch rather have to unhook the power cable every time to turn it off.

I had purchased this product looking for an economic replacement for my Shure wireless headset system. Overall the look of the product looked nice, but when we plugged it in that was another story. Feedback left and right and playing with the frequencies and lowering the house volume, but the worst thing was the sound quality. You sound like you were talking through a box, not clear at all no matter how you mixed it. Do not purchase this item, buy namebrand for the system you use.

Disappointed with the sound quality of this item. Cheap construction and it cuts out even at close range. If you touch the receiver, it screws up the signal for a while. Spend a few more bucks and get a better one. I rarely use this one now....
