Creative SL3100 Wireless Headphones Review

Creative SL3100 Wireless Headphones
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've had these headphones for about 2 weeks now and they've completely surpassed my expectations and I'm extremely happy with them. They work flawlessly with every device I've hooked them to. They can connect to anything with a strereo headphone jack (3.5mm) and If you'd like to hook them up to your Audio/Video reciever all you need is one of those jacks that converted the large plug to the small ones. They're foolproof to use; simply conect the very small bluetooth transmitter to a device and turn it on, turn on the headphones and they hook up seamlessly. The audio quality is much better than I expected and you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between wired and wireless because the sound is exceptional. The charger provided charges both the headphones and the small transmitter at the same time, the charge time is only about 2.5 hours and they last a reasonable 7-8 hours of continous music play. What makes these headphones so versatile is that they can also be used in wired mode and they come with a cable that alows you to use tham as regular wired headphones if the battery dies out on you. They are quite lightweight and I use them at the gym regularily. The ONLY slight downside is that because the headphones have a built in Lithium-Ion battery, they are a little larger than I'd like but it's a downside I am more then willing to put up with because having NO wires is simply amazing. I don't think I can ever go back to wired headphones. I can't believe more people don't own these yet because CREATIVE obviously did their research before releasing these and overall they are exceptional headphones. There is occasionally interference but the transmitter automatically fixes it quickly so al you need to do is hook them up to your MP3 and leave it in your pocket. Even more good news is that if you have a MP3 player that supports the audio controls, you can scroll through songs from buttons on the headphones, but even if your MP3 player doesn't support this, there is a volume control on the headphone that works no matter what the transmitter is hooked to. Just so you know, these headphones are not meant to transmit very far and there is interference if you go a room or too away because the transmiter is so small it really can't create a strong enough signal to punch through a bunch of walls but this isn't what the headphones are meant for. I simply can't say enough good things about these great sounding wireless headphones and I'd highly recomend them to anyone wanting a perfect solution for some wirelss music from an MP3 player, TV, and any other device you'd like to hook them.

Creative Lab Zen V and V Plus Bundled Home Travel Wall Charger and 12v Rapid Cigarette Lighter Adapter Charger Review

Creative Lab Zen V and V Plus Bundled Home Travel Wall Charger and 12v Rapid Cigarette Lighter Adapter Charger
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I should have paid attention to the reviewers who indicated problems with the wall charger in this set. I plugged my Creative Zen V Plus into the charger last night and it seemed to be working. After several hours it had not charged fully, which was strange because the battery wasn't really down that low. When I disconnected the player from the charger, the Zen V went into recovery mode. I reset several times and tried all the options in the recovery menu. After multiple attempts to re-install firmware, my PC froze and I had to go into task manager to end the install. Then my player suddenly booted up and started working. I am extremely aggravated about this for several reasons:
1. Amazon should NOT describe a product as being "from Creative labs" if it will not work with Creative products.
2. The charger clearly caused problems with my player. I have only had the player for a week, and now I am nervous about further problems, especially since I'm not sure the final firmware install completed as it should have.
3. Several hours worth of work was lost since I had to reload everything onto my player.
The car charger seems to work, although I have only used it once. Now I will be holding my breath each time I try it.
I should have known not to take the cheap way out, but I expect that a product associated with Creative labs should at least not destroy my player. Shame on you Amazon!

CreativeLabs Digital Wireless Headphones ( 70BX000007148 ) Review

CreativeLabs Digital Wireless Headphones ( 70BX000007148 )
Average Reviews:

The battery, which is claimed by Creative to last "up to" 7 hours, lasts about 2 hours. So, if you need this gadget for hiking or such, be sure to carry extra batteries. I have had similar experience with other Creative devices. Apparently, their marketing department is completely detached from their
engineering teams. Also, when the transmitter and the headphones are less that 1 foot apart, there are noise and interruptions. Other than that, the headphones are OK, I guess. Given my experience, I would probably not have bought them, but I am too lazy to return.

Creative Inspire S2 Bluetooth Wireless Multimedia Speaker System Review

Creative Inspire S2 Bluetooth Wireless Multimedia Speaker System
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These speakers are great. The audio quality is spot on for their price and size. And they'll get loud... really loud... without distorting. The subwoofer puts out great beats, and has a bass level potentiometer on the back. I've connected these speakers to my desktop via the included Bluetooth dongle. I plugged it in and Windows (7) installed the software in a matter of seconds, requiring nothing from me besides turning on the speakers. I also have them paired with my phone (MotoDroid) and my Bluetooth enabled laptop. Pairing was problem-free with both of those, I just have to push the button on the Bluetooth dongle to disconnect them from my desktop first. Also, I can have music playing off of my desktop using the speakers while using my Bluetooth headset to talk on my phone, all within about five feet of each other, and there's no interference or troubles. Overall, I would suggest these speakers to anybody.

Aerielle i2i FM Transmitter and Charger for iPod and MP3 Players (Black) Review

Aerielle i2i FM Transmitter and Charger for iPod and MP3 Players (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I owned and used a DLO FM transmitter for the Creative Zen Vision:M until it fell apart (and the Zen Vision:M itself was replaced by a Zen 32GB), so I needed a new one. Not having an iPod narrowed down the choices considerably, and eventually, after doing a lot of research, I decided to risk the Aerielle i2i.
My reasons:
1. It works with any MP3 player because it functions via the headphone jack;
2. It can charge any MP3 player -- or any other electronic device, for that matter -- that charges on USB, and play music at the same time;
3. You can input any FM frequency between 88.1 and 107.9, especially useful when you're looking for an unused FM frequency in a big town;
4. It includes the 3.5 mm audio cable that will allow it to reproduce the player's sound. It also includes the USB cable, but most of us have dozens of those lying around.
Setting this FM transmitter up is straightforward and logical. Its compact body contains the LCD display that shows the FM frequency, the tune up and tune down buttons, three station present buttons and the power / cigarette lighter plug. The body is connected to a small extension by a short cable. This extension contains the 3.5 mm audio jack (for sound) and the USB connector (for charging). Although this layout seems awkward at first, it makes sense because you never have to remove the transmitter from the power socket to plug or unplug devices from the 3.5 mm or USB connectors -- everything is close by and easily reachable.
The Aerielle i2i seems to be solidly and well built, and its texturized finish is non-slip. It does exactly what it is supposed to do: transmit the MP3 player's sound to the car's sound system. The sound quality depends on finding a free FM band, not so easy in the congested big towns but not a problem the farther away you get from them. My first run with it was in a metropolis, so all I got was acceptable sound quality -- on par with my dismembered DLO. I'll complement this review once I try the Aerielle out on the empty road, but so far it is doing well.

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Wireless Audio Transmitter and Receiver Bundle Review

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Wireless Audio Transmitter and Receiver Bundle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)

Having used a myriad of devices from the squeezboox boom and the squeezebox duet system -- as well as a few other devices that are not worth mentioning, I'll say that this is by far the easiest to use, install and operate.
Let me walk you through my set-up ... which took about 10 minutes ...
1. Unpacked the box and did away with all the plastic detritus.
2. Installed and registered the software on my laptop.
3. Plugged in the transmitter to a USB port in the back.
4. Rebooted my laptop, turned on iTunes and played a U2 album.
5. Plugged in the receiver (using a nicer set of cables) to my Sony Stereo Receiver on Aux 3. Was tempted to go optical.
6. Hit the find button on the underside of the little device and walked away.
7. 15 seconds later -- music played.
8. Stuck the batteries in the remote and turned it up.
That simple and absolutely no stumbling blocks to speak of.
Sound Quality? -- Better than I expected for this, but I wasn't looking for Mark Levinson to come out of my office and sit down on the couch with a glass of wine. The sound quality is more than adequate for casual home listening and the better your system is, the better the device will sound to you.
Responsiveness? -- I'm constantly unplugging the transmitter from my laptop and taking off somewhere, only to come back replug it back in, and find it working almost instantly and flawlessly. Windows and iTunes are not always asking questions or looking for drivers. It seems that whatever iTunes needed to do to make this thing be compatible with itself, was worked out ahead of time by Creative Labs and Apple. That's a first.
The Software -- is quite good and quite simple. You can customize it to play in zones, if that's your thing or adjust the quality of the sound and other minor changes. The software, from what I saw, doesn't appear to be a resource hog, nor has it been the culprit of crashes or bluescreens. If you don't use iTunes , you don't like to, or don't want to, this may be the only *real* problem one could face. The good thing is that it doesn't require you to depend on it as a player like other companies, or other devices do.
I can find no fault with this and I'm happy with the success of this device. I use it everyday now and I'm thoroughly pleased.
Well done ... a great idea to give as a gift for young or old as the ease of use with this is simple and the learning curve low. How about that for innovation?
