GOgroove PurePlay 2.4 Ghz Wireless Headphones with Premium SonusMAX Engineering Technology Review

GOgroove PurePlay 2.4 Ghz Wireless Headphones with Premium SonusMAX Engineering Technology

After a day of use i decided to return these. This is just a very basic newbie's review, so no flaming.
First off the good then bad,
Pros: very good theater sound (bass...), wireless technology worked on my ipad and computer so i was able to get good audio, has good range (yes it works through walls), smells like leather and good feeling?
Cons: Ear cups don't really cover ears and are hard pressing against skull, which makes them uncomfortable after an hour or less. Transmitter must be connected to a power source , either through usb or wall charger (included), would have been good if they added some type of battery run solution to it. The worst part is that since it's wireless runs on 2.4ghz it interfered with my wifi and with other wireless peripherals (Microsoft mouse 4000). For instance, when i plugged the transmitter into my laptop, my wireless speed dropped from 26mbps to .2mbps. When i use my wireless mouse, I loose internet connection on my laptop. So until their is another solution, I don't see this working.

New Belkin TuneBase FM Transmitter Charger Dock w/ Hands-Free for Apple iPhone 3G / 3GS Review

New Belkin TuneBase FM Transmitter Charger Dock w/ Hands-Free for Apple iPhone 3G / 3GS
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I used this product with my iPod Touch 3G - 64GB and had less that pleasing results.
My iPod fit great, as did my friend's iPhone 3gs. The simplicity of plugging the devices in, and pushing it back to "lock in" works awesome. It is also very adjustable to fit pretty much any iPod made.
The first issue is with interference from the DC port. My car, like many, has a noisy ground loop. For this reason I use a ground loop isolator (GLI) to get rid of whines, whistles, and engine noise when I have a device plugged into the 12 volt port to charge. I was astounded that a device with an MSRP of $99.99 wouldn't have any sort of GLI built in. Not only that, but the device seemed way more susceptible to this noise than my cheap USB and iPod specific car chargers.
Another CON for this unit is that you need to plug in the Dock Connector AND an audio cable. I also have a cheaper, but much less elegant looking FM adapter/mount sold under various name brands including 'GTMax Permium' and it pulls the audio right out of the dock connector, so it is much less hassle to connect and disconnect the iPod. This cheaper unit also has a much stronger FM transmitter AND has a built in GLI to stop most of the engine noise I pick up with the Belkin unit.
I would not recommend this unit to friends or family. Only the fit and finish of the mount saves the Belkin TuneBase FM Transmitter from 1 star status.

Griffin Technology RadioShark AM / FM Desktop Radio with Time-Shift Recording Review

Griffin Technology RadioShark AM / FM Desktop Radio with Time-Shift Recording
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I already have a couple software programs that will automatically record and save radio programming but when the Radio Shark was announced, I couldn't resist. Mac elegance, simplicity and functionality. Or so I thought. The product is solid, well made and the software is easy to use. Unfortunately, the reception is unacceptably poor in my suburban, residential area. Every radio I own from clock radios, a couple Tivoli Pal's, a built in-whole house system, mini-systems and so on receive programming easily. The Radio Shark's reception is inferior to even the lowliest of portables. I've tried everything I can think of. Coiling the USB cable, moving it to every place within reach, using a high dollar shielded usb extension cable which also allowed me to move the Shark further from the computer), using the Radio Shark's headphone input with a pair of ear buds and a minijack to rca cable (as Griffin's website suggests). Nothing seems to help. I have two other radios within 18 inches of computers and they were pretty easy to set up and receive clear, static free programming. The Radio Shark has been a huge disappointment. I should have learned my lesson after purchasing the Power Mate from this company. The Power mate (ditto for the Radio Shark) is very high quality piece of hardware from a fit and finish standpoint but the software was glitchy with a pc. Maybe it would have been better with a mac. But I digress. Perhaps if you live far from all urban and suburban interference or live on a hill with better line of site to the towers you want to receive from, the Radio Shark might be fine. For the rest of us, the Radio Shark is likely to disappoint. If you want to time shift radio programming, I can recommend two excellent pieces of software. High Criteria's Total Recorder Pro (for the pc) and Rogue Amoeba's Audio Hijack Pro for the Mac. I don't work for or profit from either comany. I use both on a daily basis. Both are rock solid. All you need to do is connect a radio to your pc or mac and you're set.

The RadioSHARK adds a software controlled AM-FM radio any PC or Macintosh computer -- and that's only the beginning! The RadioSHARK records AM & FM broadcasts. Record a scheduled show or use Time-Shift Recording to "pause" live radio, so you can return to right where you left off moments, even hours later.

Azden WMS-PRO Wireless Microphone System Review

Azden WMS-PRO Wireless Microphone System
Average Reviews:

I'm a bit surprised at the reviewer who gave only three stars to this system and said in his title: "I haven't used this system." How can anyone rate it without using it?
I've used this system for years and have gotten great sound. I've also used higher-priced wireless systems, and to my ear, there is no difference. Also, this cheap little Azden system is still going strong after some of the other brands bit the dust.
I don't think wireless lav systems can get the great audio you get with a shotgun mic, a boom, and a sound person, but those things are just not in my budget.

Azden's WMS-PRO wireless microphone system offers untethered convenience and clear FM transmission from compact, unobtrusive components. Affix the electret microphone to your lapel or grasp the handheld mic, plug the mic cord into the transmitter, and away you go.The transmitter and receiver operate in the VHF band, where interference is very low. Choose between 169.445 MHz and 170.245 MHz for the clearest transmission and reception. The transmitter and receiver each operates for about 10 continuous hours on a single 9V battery (not included). The receiver comes with an attached shoe mount for mounting a video camera, which may be easily removed using a Philips-head screwdriver. You can also attach the receiver with the supplied Velcro strip. The receiver includes an output jack and a telescopic antenna. Bose SL2 wireless surround link - Wireless audio delivery system for rear speakers Review

Bose SL2 wireless surround link - Wireless audio delivery system for rear speakers
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I recently moved to a new house, and didn't want to drill holes in the walls or floor to get the wires to the back of the room. I was somewhat skeptical about this product and concerned with sound quality. However, I'm happy to say there is absolutely no difference between using the SL2 and hard wiring the rear speakers!
a) The system is made up of two receivers. They are both very small, and are easily concealable.
b) The front receiver plugs into the base module with 2 wires (left & right speaker wires)
c) The rear speakers plug into the rear receiver.
d) Installation complete!
This is an excellent product and I highly recommend it to all.

Creative Bluetooth Audio BT-D1 USB Transmitter Review

Creative Bluetooth Audio BT-D1 USB Transmitter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have a HP-MINI 311 1000-NR netbook for which the in-built speakers are not working. So I bought a Creative BT-100 speaker and this USB transmitter. After 2 months of usage, I am happy. Every time my netbook boots up, this USB transmitter by default tries to connect to BT-100 speaker. So all i have to do is just turn-on my netbook & the speaker. Thats it.
