Blueant S1 Sun Visor Bluetooth Handsfree Review

Blueant S1 Sun Visor Bluetooth Handsfree
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Let me start with the basics - this car kit is not bad. It isn't great, but I've seen worse. The S1 is about $20 cheaper than the Supertooth 3 (the flagship carkit from Blueant). Sadly, the S1 loses the cool features found on the Supertooth 3 - voice dialing is one of them (the S1 does support a simple "answer" command for picking up calls.
The S1 does all the basics, plus it adds Bluetooth audio. This works, but don't expect it to replace your car stereo any time soon. The A2DP Bluetooth stereo lacks one minor little thing - AVCRP or Bluetooth audio remote. So, even though you can listen to music, you can't control it.
Now on to the big one - when you open the box, you see the S1, its visor clip and an AC charger. That is correct - the brainiacs at Blueant obviously felt that nobody would need a car charger for the car kit in their car.
This means you'll need to spend an additional $10 on a MiniUSB car charger cord. To me, this is an inexcusable flaw, and one that makes it seem like the product was poorly thought through.

Motorola T325 Bluetooth Portable Car Speaker (Black, Retail Packaging) Review

Motorola T325 Bluetooth Portable Car Speaker (Black, Retail Packaging)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have owned other Bluetooth car speakers, but none compare to this one. Motorola really went all out in their research to find ways to make this product exceptionally user-friendly! You pair it to your cell phone, clip it to your visor and it does the rest! I, too, was concerned about it only coming with a car charger. I now realize the reason is because you rarely have to charge it. Unlike other speakers I have owned, I don't have to take it in every night to hook up to a charger (and then forget to get it in the morning); I don't have to turn it on and off or "connect" it to my cell phone every morning -- it does everything automatically, and the sound quality is excellent. And I especially like the feature that announces the person who is calling me. I don't have to take my eyes off the road for one second to look at the incoming number on my cell phone! I have only written 3 reviews on products in my entire lifetime of buying electronic gadgets (and I have bought LOTS!), so I really have to be sold on a product to write a review. I feel confident in stating that this product is worthy of a top rating.

The T325's intuitive design includes an entry on/exit off feature that automatically syncs your Bluetooth-enabled phone with the speakerphone when you enter your car. This clever speakerphone is packed with premium calling features, including an automated phonebook that announces the name of incoming callers. It also gives you one touch access to Bing 411--a service that provides directions, weather updates, movie times, and more.
Syncs Automatically with Your Mobile DeviceFully Bluetooth-enabled, the T325 wirelessly syncs with your mobile device the moment you enter your car. There are no buttons to fumble with or push, and everything is automatic so you'll never forget. This way you'll always talk hands-free and keep your attention where it needs to be--on the road. You don't have to worry about it turning it off either; the T325 automatically switches itself off when you get out of your car, conserving battery life for your next trip.
Call Options at the Touch of a ButtonWith the T325, you gain access to several convenient calling functions, including call waiting and mute. A large call button lets you answer and place calls with ease, while a tri-color LED displays Bluetooth connectivity and mute status. Most importantly, the speakerphone's controls are user-friendly so you won't compromise your safety while driving.
Convenient Contact FeaturesWhen you receive a call, the T325 will audibly announce the name of the incoming caller. It pulls names directly from your phonebook and will recognize up to 1,500 entries.
For added convenience, the T325 will automatically compile a "Favorite Contacts" list. It intuitively updates and stores your 25 most frequently used phone numbers and allows one-touch dialing for those contacts.
Instant Access to Bing 411 ServicesThe T325 also gives you access to Bing 411--a fast and easy way to stay connected and get information when you're on the go. Preprogrammed as the number-one spot on the "Favorite Contacts" list, Bing 411 provides one-touch access to driving directions, weather, movies, sports, stock quotes and more.
Long-Lasting Charge and Universal Bluetooth CompatibilityThe T325 provides up to 17 hours of uninterrupted talk time. On standby, the battery's charge can last for up to 2-1/2 weeks. For added convenience, a micro-USB charging port is included on the side of the device.
The speakerphone also features universal compatibility and can be used with any Bluetooth-enabled device--it's simple to set up and takes only seconds to sync.

Creative D100 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker (Black) Review

Creative D100 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Given this is the first review, I will be thorough.
I've owned the Creative D100 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker for two months (paid $78.47). I'm very pleased. The sound quality is excellent for this type of speaker. The volume is loud enough to completely fill a room or a small outdoor area (e.g., patio). I've enjoyed it on the beach and found quality does not suffer much at high volumes.
Like with any small speaker, if you crank it to max volume, there is some distortion on bass-heavy songs. But the distortion is slight, and the bass sounds great if you have the volume appropriately set for the type of audio you are streaming.
On that note, there is no remote. The only way to control the volume is the `volume up' and `volume down' buttons on the front of the speaker or directly from streaming device ONLY IF it allows it. That is, my iPhone (3G - iOS 3.1.3) CANNOT change the speaker's volume while streaming, but my laptop can. In my use, I have not needed a remote. Usually I directly set the speaker's volume for the environment (e.g., bathroom, patio) and forget it. No remote also means you must control the streaming media from your device. There are no media control buttons on the speaker.
There is an auxiliary input on the back of the speaker, if you want to hook up a non-bluetooth device, or maybe just to save battery by not using Bluetooth.
Pairing with Bluetooth-capable devices (in my case, iPhone 3G and HP laptop) is simple and quick.
Battery life (four AA) is excellent. It is so long I cannot even put an estimate in terms of hours. It also came with an AC adapter, but I have never used it. The battery compartment is underneath the speaker.
The speaker is fairly small and very light. I actually carry it from room-to-room to enjoy while I am doing chores.
My only concern with the speaker is the build quality. The plastic casing is sturdy, but the front face of the speaker (surrounding the name plate and volume controls) is made of cloth. The cloth is spongy, but I am worried that it will inevitably tear with my heavy use of the speaker. There is no travel case included with the speaker.
Looking for a portable Bluetooth wireless speaker, I also considered the Logitech Z515 ($90, smaller and cloth-free). I've never used that Logitech speaker, but I ultimately chose the Creative D100 based on superior reviews for sound quality and bass quality. Look into both. There are good reviews for them and a comparison on CNET, if you want more information.
On the front of the speaker:
Volume up button
Volume down button
Bluetooth connect button
On the back of the speaker:
Power (on/off) switch
Aux input
5V AC adapter input
Underneath the speaker:
Battery compartment (four AA)

Grace Digital GDI-AQBLT300 Indoor/Outdoor Water Resistant Wireless Speakers with Dual Powered Transmitter Review

Very easy setup and they sound great! I mainly use them in the back yard while entertaining and having BBQ's. I have them plugged into a power source, but I love having the option to take them to the park or beach and use them with batteries also. Plus, the free apps that allow me to use my Android phone and iPod are an awesome perk. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a set of weatherproof outdoor speakers.

Audio Unlimited 900MHz Wireless Add-on Speaker (Black) (SPK-VELO2) Review

Audio Unlimited 900MHz Wireless Add-on Speaker (Black) (SPK-VELO2)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this product as a complement to my Logitech Squeezebox, which utilizes my powerful stereo and is excellent for listening to music. It's a hassle to use it to listen to NPR and I never figured out how to use it with Windows Media Player, so thus the purchase. I bought 2 for my living room and one for my bathroom. The Audio Unlimited speakers were a snap to set up and the single speaker I mounted in my bathroom uses the batteries and I get very long life out of the NiMH C cells I loaded into it. Where the speakers fall short is in listening to music - they lack depth, bass, and volume. So I use them exclusively for listening to voice broadcasts, which they perform well.

Creative Bluetooth Audio BT-D1 USB Transmitter Review

Creative Bluetooth Audio BT-D1 USB Transmitter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have a HP-MINI 311 1000-NR netbook for which the in-built speakers are not working. So I bought a Creative BT-100 speaker and this USB transmitter. After 2 months of usage, I am happy. Every time my netbook boots up, this USB transmitter by default tries to connect to BT-100 speaker. So all i have to do is just turn-on my netbook & the speaker. Thats it.
