For my application, this cable fit the bill. Compared to other so called "Shielded Cables", this one is tops. This cable is routed around and thru AC lines and my UPS backup device and does NOT pick up and noise. This item gets two thumbs up in my book.

Kenwood KCA-iP500 iPod Interface Review

Upon reading all the reviews on this site I was almost deterred into buying a head unit with an aux-in on the front but I'm now very glad I didn't. Reviewers here have been too quick to dismiss this product because of the navigation system without adapting to how to use the system best, or considering for a second, that you should not expect a head unit to behave in the same way an iPod does. It is not practical to have a knob that behaves like the ipod touch wheel and you can't expect the song titles to display quickly on a limited character display (eg. 12 characters).
The navigation system is estentially the head unit's stacker control function, modified to suit controlling an iPod ~ equivalent to a 1000 CD-stacker for a 60 gig model. Think about what's involved in burning a CD from your computer compared to making a few playlists that can be very quickly selected by your head unit controlling the iPod (Car iPod). Then you'll see that there is a huge time saving in working with playlists compared to working with burnt cds. We have long accepted that CDs come with 12 or so unnamed tracks and to listen to the desired song we have to find the track number from the back of the CD. The Car iPod is far better than that. You do not have to scroll one artist at a time until you get to the letter Z 10 minutes later. You simply use your remote and either guess or look up from a list, that the artist you want is number 78 on the list, enter 78, hit the "OK" key and you're on the artist you want. Fast for making huge jumps through your list isn't it!? Want a particular song? Enter the track number and then the appropriate "OK" key. Music collections do not change all that much and in time you'll get a feel for what number in the list the artist you want is. This system also works for genre and playlist. If you make 99 playlists with 99 songs in each you have extremely swift access to 9801 songs (6 presses of the remote and a 5 second wait).
Failing that system and you really must hear a particular song you can unplug your iPod choose the song and plug it back in to resume from the song you just selected. Considering what the engineers had to work with on this - 1.their existing head unit style 2. what works in a car 3. the Apple designed control interface - they have done an EXCEPTIONAL job here. Congratulations this goes down as one favourite purchases.

Griffin TuneFlex AUX w/Dock Connector for iPod Review

Griffin TuneFlex AUX w/Dock Connector for iPod

This product has been updated. Griffin has come out with the TuneFlex AUX 2 version. It is much better (see my review of it below)
TuneFlex AUX
-------------------
Plain and simple, don't bother with this product. It pales in comparison to the updated model. This model shifts around and isn't as clean looking as the new model. It also doesn't always charge my iPod Classic...which didn't charge properly for a lot of auto chargers (I tried about 5 different ones). Just skip this product and get the new version...it is worth the extra money. Read my review of the updated model below:TuneFlex AUX 2 Review:
-------------------
This is a good product, probably the best auto charging dock available (I've tried quite a few). I own an iPod Classic 80GB (and iPhone 3G) and it charges and plays them just fine. The product arm itself is strong and doesn't move a bit. The holding dock itself (comes with a variety of docks for all your iPods) allows you to rotate it. This does move. It's stiff at first, but once you break it in it will start twisting a bit on a large iPod. Nano's probably won't budge at all. It's not horrible, it probably rotates about 10 degrees in either direction when I take turns. It usually goes back though, so it isn't the end of the world.
I will say the holders themselves, while there are many to choose from, really don't have much support for the product. There is no backing to them at all (except one which doesn't appear to fit my iPod classic, iPhone, or nano). No worries though, the iPod still manages to stay in place without a problem (and they ride in a Pontiac G8).
Overall, 4 out of 5 stars. If it was solid as a rock, I would give it 5...but it's pretty close. Again, if you own a Nano, this thing probably won't budge at all. The iPod Classic will rotate a little, but not much. If you don't want it to move at all, I suggest getting a Belkin TuneDok (goes in a cup holder) or a vent clip model.

I am very pleased with this audio cable and am glad that I chose it over one of the cheaper ones I was considering. The cable is very thick and strong, yet still flexible. I am using it to connect my headphones to my workstation under my desk which was too far for my headphones to reach on their own.
I compared audio quality when using the cable vs. connecting headphones directly and found no noticeable difference, even when playing raw uncompressed audio.
The female end forms a tight, firm connection with anything I have tried connecting to it. The male end forms an equally good connection with any jack mounted on a flat surface. The width of the cable at the end can make a good connection difficult if the device you are connecting it to has a lip or ridge next to the jack (such as on my laptop). I don't imagine this would be a problem for most people since most jacks are on a smooth surfaces, but you should check the device you are planning to use this with before ordering.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this cable and would recommend it.

I bought this cable specifically to replace a cheap cable that had worn through from long-term abuse in my car. This cable seems much sturdier and higher-quality, so I'm pleased with it. But it's so thick that it's hard to coil up into a small bundle, which is a little unwieldy in the car.

Cables Unlimited USB-2110 USB 2.0 to IDE and SATA Adapter Cable with Power Review

I have three IDE drives to try this on.
The Seagate 160G, never could get it to work.
Maxtor 160G, works every time.
Western Digital 120G finally got to work after setting drive jumper to Master with slave. Would not work when set to Master standalone.
Didn't try the ESATA.
Manual is the typical chinese translated to english type and doesn't have much in it.
Question you need to ask yourself if you're thinking of buying this is, do you feel lucky?
