(More customer reviews)Bought two of these items. One worked fairly well except it picks up extraneous transmissions and interference to the extent it is unusable. As you drive down the road You get a real appreciation for the power company's AC presence. I hear AC on this thing that reminds me of the days of the old AM (Amplitude Modulated) radios which at times were totally drowed out by commercial AC noise. The second one works ok in one auto, almost not at all in the other. I've noticed that at least one of them gets really hot on the barrel which plugs into the cigaret lighter. Thumbs down on these two items. Received several Emails regarding negative feedback on one of the two already, sorry but this is a thumbs down in reality - I have no reason to make this stuff up.
