Shure PG14 Wireless Guitar System, J6 Review

I like this product, i checked this product as recommened by the professionals its great, clear, reliable.
Its amazingly easy to configure, in a few seconds believe me 5-seconds and your set to rock. it begins by connecting via infrared then the wireless radio connection takes place.
I took my guitar to the last end of the house and still rocking no weak singals, i trusted the recommendations and i believe them now, auto channel search and auto connect..
When you cant connect and the light goes orange, it means change the batteries as simple as that, it was not specified though but i discovered it :)
Thanks
TOA

THIS IS AN AMAZING CHEAP WIRELESS SYSTEM. no "VIOLIN" effect on your instrument! my only complaint is the flimsy transmitter that attaches to your instrument

V-MODA Remix M-Class Earbuds- Bling Bling Black Review

These are not really dramatically better than the standard ipod headphones. But they sound pretty good for non canal type earbuds, and are a good value for the price. I ride a bike in New York City so I need earbuds that will allow some outside sounds in, and these work well.
I also like the clear cable and modern styling. Let's you be a bit more than another white cord ipod clone.

Samson AirLine 77 UHF TD Wireless Guitar System with AG1 Transmitter, Channel N1 Review

I have used this transmitter on my electric violin for over a year and am so happy I bought it. I thought I would like the freedom of being wireless but now that I'm used to it could never see myself going back to using a cord. It's like thinking about using a corded landline telephone.
The sound quality is very good. I even use it in the studio to produce albums. You can hear samples on my website by listening to "Remember" or "Here and Now" which were both recorded using the wireless unit.
There is likely a slight increase in noise but I am willing to accept that to gain the freedom of movement that allows for clearer artistic expression. I'll never go back.
Peace to you,
Jimmy Free

Nady MGT 16 UHF Wireless Instrument System With 30 Degree Plug Review

Nady MGT 16 UHF Wireless Instrument System With 30 Degree Plug

I own this item and have used it in conjuncetion with an Aria Sinsonido Nylon string guitar and an Ibanez Troubadour Amp. I really like the design and the small size, but this product ultimately let me down on functinality. Every note played is acompanied by a highly audible "hiss" which goes away when the strings are muted. I experimented for hours with changing transmission channels, as well transmitter, receiver and amp settings, and tried an assorment of long, short, regular and gold plated cables, but could not get rid of the "hissing" sound... Meanwhile, when I connected my guitar to the amp directly using any of the cables, I got crystal clear sound. It appears that this device is not capable of transmitting clear signals. This might be still do for playing loud and distorted power chords in a hard rock piece, but is certainly inadequate for finger picked Bossa Nova...

Shure PG14 Wireless Guitar System, M7 Review

Shure PG14 Wireless Guitar System, M7

I play guitar in a 3-piece rock band that plays weekend bar gigs. Have been playing for decades, and worked as a recording studio engineer for over 10 years. I bought this to replace a cheap 10-year-old Nady that had a glass of water dumped on it (bar hazard)
The good news is that this unit has very little effect on the tone of the guitar. Maybe a SLIGHT bass roll-off, maybe not. The range is great, and I've never had dropouts.
The bad news is that the bottom half of the dynamic range gets choked off by an expander. Sustained notes die WAY too soon...and not smoothly, but with a tremolo kind of in-and-out. Playing softly? FORGET IT. It takes so much signal to get through the expander that softly strummed notes sound like palm-mutes. Soft palm mute notes sound like....mistakes.
so, if you play full-pick all the time (metal) this is very good. If you use any kind of dynamics, buy something else.

Pyle-Pro PGW170 - VHF Belt Pack Wireless Guitar Transmitter Review

Pyle-Pro PGW170 - VHF Belt Pack Wireless Guitar Transmitter

A PYLE of shiite......
I bought this thing and have 3 others, Samson brand, and right from the day I bought it it didn't function right, so I try returning it (but had shelved it inadvertently seeing I have bigger things to worry about) so the secretary there (I'm sure at the behest of the owners) gave me all kinds of grief to return the thing a couple days after the policy required and only the receiver, not just sending me a whole new product.
so after bickering for a couple days in emails back and forth, PAYING MY OWN DOUGH to ship the thing back and some wrangling back and forth, I send it and get back one that also did not work....which says to me (A) they just returned the thing I sent them to be ()*^()^'s ( I forgot to mark it so I would know) or (B) the main box was no good and not the beltpack.
So, I wasn't about to go through the same routine I did to return the beltpack for a $50 piece of *()^)^) so you can see in a Youtube the Pete Townsend routine I did to it ....but I won't link it here because then they'll find it and ask youtube to remove it or try and hassle me and sue me for defamation.
So search there for PYLE OF (*^*()&*_ and you should find it...it's pretty funny frankly people tell me....
Obviously my opinion is 'Save your money and buy the competitors product'
For instance, My Samson models (3) work still after years, only problem I notice with them all, the low end ones, is they don't pick up low guitar tones very well but play well when doing leads with a stomp box of your choice and middle chord tones...
