(More customer reviews)We purchased these speakers to use indoors in a retail setting. The base unit is in an office and the speakers fan out from there. So far we have 4 speakers connected, although we will be adding an additional 4 speakers (Audio Unlimited tech support said we could connect up to 20 speakers). The range states 150' but I found that by the time we placed a speaker on our farthest outside wall, the sound was static (at less than 100'), but not putting a speaker on the farthest wall has not been a deal breaker for me. I have been quite happy with these, and these are significantly easier to use than regular speakers with speaker wire. I should also note that we use the AC adapter on all speakers, no batteries; I don't know how that might influence strength of signal. The only other thing that I have not tested that could make a difference is turning the speakers on/off with the remote. The remote has an auto-tune button, so it might work great, but I just haven't used it yet.
