It is almost silent inside the player, and the transmitter is designed to make direct contact with the reader head, so you will get the best sound quality possible. The cord is designed to exit any of the top corners, and has flexible opening, so it lowers nicely into car cassette decks. It's rare to see as much thought put into something as simple as a cassette adapter, but if you find yourself needing to use one, you will be extremely happy that this one is available. Heck, at $4.99 + shipping, I might just get a couple more to keep as backup.
