Discovery Channel Expedition Wireless Speakers, Portable For Indoor And Outdoor Use Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I purchased these speakers for my father, to use as supplements for our deck speakers. Unfortunately the WIRELESS sound quality is spotty, seems very sensitive to any form of electrical interference (likely due to the antenna setup, as opposed to other means of wireless communication). If I have to endure any more pop-pop-popping noise, I may snap.
Note: This is at any distance (close and far) from the speakers.
Not for use in any environment with computers, people(seems to react somewhat to galvanic skin conductance), wires, etc.
Also: It's a bit of a hassle to get the batteries into the wireless transmitter. I'm not at all impressed with this aspect of the package.
Aside from this major flaw, the speakers seem durable enough. The sound quality, when the signal is strong, is good.
In sum: Speakers = Great, Transmitter = Disappointing.
All in all, I'd say they're worth purchasing if on sale, but not in the $150 range when you can easily find a better product elsewhere.
