Key Finders & Remote finder by Where's the Remote? Keyfinders. Remote Control, Wallet, Pet, Cell phone, Locator (Free Extra Batteries) Review

(More customer reviews)I looked at a lot of reviews for a device like this one. This device is the only one that didn't get any negative comments. This worked right out of the box following the simple instructions. I tested it leaving the receiver laying out in the open and I could make contact with it from the next room through a wall. It wont work through two walls but hey I find the range adequate for finding a remote. I also put the receiver under cushions, blankets etc it always went off with a beep sound loud enough (though muffled) to locate the receiver. Unobstructed line of sight range is about 25 feet. I'm satisfied and I really like the low battery feature.
Two areas for improvement. If these were improved I would give it a 5 star rating.
The receivers go into sleep mode and the instructions say you need to hold the button on the transmitter for 5 seconds to wake up the receivers. I have found it always takes more like 8 - 10 seconds to wake the receiver. Not a big deal but something to be aware of.
The transmitter is small but the receivers are about twice the size of the transmitter. Maybe this allows for electronics to produces a nice clear loud sound but I think since your going to attach the receivers to a item like a remote they should be about half the size they are now.
For the price I paid I'm happy and would recommend this to anyone that needs a way to locate a lost remote or keys.
