I bought three sets of these speakers and my son bought another, and all eight speakers have the same problem: They work OK for a short while, but then the volume cuts out for half a second every five seconds or so. Eight separate speakers, all with the same problem, and purchased over a period of weeks, so I don't think it's a particular batch--I think these are all defective.
Other problems with these speakers include a loud hum and the fact that they are not stereo; don't be fooled by the fact that there are two speakers in every package. These are two monaural speakers, not a stereo pair. The sound quality is OK, so long as the volume being delivered to the transmitter is very loud; but if the volume being delivered to the transmitter is moderate, there is not enough amplification in the speakers to produce much volume.
On the positive side, the transmitter did connect to the speakers without any problems, and did so through a couple of walls over a distance of 10-15 feet.
Bottom line, these wireless speakers were a complete waste of money.
