(More customer reviews)I have tried over-the-ear blue-tooth devices, my phone's speakerphone, and wired speakerphone devices to make hands-free calls in my car. There was always too much background noise or my voice sounded too muffled or tinny to be heard. I researched several blue-tooth speakerphone devices on-line, this one always seemed to come out on top. I have not been disappointed. I have used this in my vehicle for a over a year without complaints from callers that they could not hear or understand me. The one-touch answering and calling makes it simple to use while driving.
Since it is portable you can transfer to another vehicle, and it can be used as a quality speakerphone anywhere you need one. It works just as well as a speakerphone in my office as it does in my car. The battery lasts a long time, and you can use it while it is charging. It uses the same Motorola mini-usb charger that most Motorola phones use. You can charge in your car, with a wall-charger, or computer USB cable. I have changed to a Samsung smart phone and it works as well with this phone as it did with my Motorola Razr.
The only issue I have with this device is the reliability of the voice-recognition. It usually understands me correctly, but sometimes it will ask if I said call someone else. It is worst when the battery level is low. Plug in the charger and it works normally. This is the same issue I had with my Motorola phone, so probably the same software (Motorola, take a hint to improve on this).
Overall I give this unit high praise.
